Souperpop at Mecca

Saturday night 19 June 2010 is going to be a POP ART celebration of art and clubbing. The United States of Aliens guest production in co-operation with the United Hearts for Help organisation will be serving up SOUPERPOP within the Mecca club space... You’re gonna reach boiling point and swim in the bubbles of tasty condensed soup, made from the hottest club POP music. The Electro-Tech-Progressive sounds of Tecktonique will be waiting for you, from the very hands of the SOUPERPOP “Ultraviolet Underground” resident DJs. The basic ingredients of the soup are rhythm, noise, melody, vocals, feeling, atmosphere, party theatre and dance. And the head chef… President of the United States of Aliens DJDr.T.N.F from Bob Sinclar’s creative team, Madonna 50th Birthday Party-Czech Republic producer, who lives his life on the European theatre-dance scene, was operating in Paris during the Tecktonik Boom L'été d'Amour 2007 and remixes songs in real time, right before your very eyes. Also appearing will be the first lady of the SOUPERPOP project, DJane Evson, who is returning to Mecca, not only as the Best DJ GayStar award winner, but with a new charge and experience from club and hall party productions in the CR and EU. SOUPERPOP is the accompanying party programme of the unique international (HE)ART for HELP project, which is organising the Haiti Help fine-art auction in the Czech National Hall New York City - September 2010. SOUPERPOP is sub-titled Andy Warhol Tribute, in honour of the creative genius with Czechoslovak roots who was resident of the legendary Studio 54 on 54th Street, New York City, the cradle of dance parties. SOUPERPOP is the night when DJs followed by dancers will alternate on the large and small Mecca stages, so you can choose to follow your leader or enjoy the room where you are getting your SUPER POP. Very special guests will also be making an appearance. But we’re keeping their identity TOP SECRET. If you ask “What’s the recommended dress code?” our answer is: “Don’t hesitate to be SEXY and Ultra Violet!” LET'S HARMONISE! LET'S WARHOLISE!
