The exhibition Scarecrows by Aleš Brázdil and Jan Mráz at the Chemistry Gallery introduces the artwork of two young and talented artists, graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Their large-scale paintings depict the human figure as a filter that transmits perceptions of contemporary culture. The exhibition shows overwhelming figural drawings by Jan Mráz and impressive hyper realistic paintings by Aleš Brázdil. The exhibited artworks are the dissertations of both the artists and were presented in The National Gallery’s Veletržní palác as part of the 2009 Diplomanti AVU exhibition. The exhibition takes place at the Chemistry Gallery in Vinohrady on U Kanálky 4, Prague 2, and will last until 25 January 2011.
