On Thursday, March 10th, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. the Chemistry Gallery is proud to present the 3rd installment of Next Targets, an exhibition focusing on young, fresh artists presented in cycles at the gallery. The goal of Next Targets is to introduce new talents of the Czech art scene to the general public in order for the artists to become the new targets of art lovers, collectors and galleries. Three new artists are featured during one cycle; the artists are selected based on similarities in their works so they can naturally endorse and support each other, while at the same time show off differences and characteristics of their work. This 3rd installment will focus on three fresh faces, two of which are recent graduates of the Art Academy in Ostrava - Jan Vytiska and Pavla Malinova, last years finalists of the award “Cena kritiky za mladou malbu”, both also members of the music formation Like She, and Tomas Prchal, 3rd year student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in the studio of Michael Rittstein. The exhibition will continue in the Chemistry Gallery from March 10th until April 3rd, 2011.
