On Wednesday July 13th, 2011 at 7 p.m. Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek of the legendary 60s group The Doors will play at the Incheba Arena in Prague’s Výstavišté in Holesovice. The Doors shot to international fame in the 60s due to their unique and highly addictive sound, characterized by Ray Manzarek’s haunting, circus like keyboard playing and singer Jim Morrison’s ominpresent and sometimes imposing stage presence. The bands hayday and creative growth was cut short by the untimely death of Morrison in Paris at the age of 27. The band tried to continue after Morrison’s death, however the absence of the Lizard King was an absence The Door’s fanbase wasn’t about to forget. The Doors belong to the top of America’s most intriguing, unforgettable and legendy bands from a time of love, peace, war, drugs, freedom and musical growth. Don’t miss this wonderful chance to see keyboard player Ray Manzarek and Guitar player Robby Krieger perform live in Prague. For further information and tickets please see: www.ticketportal.cz
