Primal Scream

On Sunday August 7th, 2011 at 8 p.m. at the Vltavska Cultural Center Primal Scream will rock the city of Prague with their 1991 album Screamadelica. Formed in 1982 in Glasgow by Bobby Gillespie of Jesus and Mary Chain and Jim Beattie, the group is currently based in London. The current line up of Primal Scream is made up of Gillespie, Andrew Innes on guitar, Martin Duffy on keys, Gary “Mani” Mounfield on bass and Darrin Mooney on drums. A key band during the mid 80s indie pop music scene, Primal Scream broke into the mainstream of music with their 1991 album Screamadelica, which brought the band commercial success. Labeled by many as the best live music act in Britain, Primal Scream will play in Prague in August 2011. Don’t miss the chance to see them live!
