The Wombats

The Wombats, an indie rock band from Liverpool, England will play at the Lucerna Music Bar on the 27th of November 2011. The band consists of Matthew Murphy, Dan Haggis, both from Liverpool and Norwegian born Tord Øverland-Knudsen. The band formed in 2003 and released their debut single in Japan title Girls, Boys, and Marsupials. In 2007 they released their first album, The Wombats Proudly Present: A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation which included the soon to be hit single Let’s Dance to Joy Division. Let’s Dance to Joy Division reached the UK charts at number 11. In April 2011 they released their second album This Modern Glitch. Don’t miss the catch to see The Wombats live in Prague!
