Concentrate IV “Made by Readymade” at the Chemistry Gallery
From July 21st 2011 until August 14th 2011 the Chemistry Gallery presents its new exhibition Concentrate IV “Made by Readymade”. The concept of Made by Readymade is simple; it shows the will to confrontation with a theme made by a system of expression that is understandable and simply clever. It is related to Duchamp’s Dada ready-mades such as his infamous Fountain sculpture that rocked the world of art in 1917. Concentrate will also include some older and established artists such as Marcus Heumer, who is an Austrian artist and professor of the New Media Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and the curator of the exhibition “Diplomanti AVU 2011“ at Karlin Hall in Prague, as well as Eugenio Percossi, and Italian artist well known in the Czech conceptual art scene.
