Metronomy

On December 5th 2011 at 8:00 p.m. Metronomy will play at Prague's Lucerna Music Bar. Metronomy, an English electronic music group hails from Devon, England and was formed in 1999 by Joseph Mount. Their sound can be described as instrumental experimental electronic, however the band has recently added pop vocals to the mix. Metronomy currently consists of Joseph Mount (composer, vocals, keys, guitar), Anna Prior (drums), Oscar Cash (saxophone, keys, backing vocals) and Gbenga Adelekan (bass and vocals). Metronomy has released three studio albums to date, Pip Paine (Pay The £5000 You Owe), Nights Out and The English Riviera (2011). Metronomy has remixed several famous artists including Gorillaz, Roots Manuva, Franz Ferdinand, Klaxons, Goldfrapp, The Young Knives, Zero 7, Ladytron, Kate Nash and Lykke Li.
