From August 10 -14 2011, the capital of the Czech Republic will host the first Prague Pride 2011: Pride & Tolerance Festival. From Wednesday, August 10th to Sunday the 14th the city will hold various sporting events, exhibitions, theater performances, films, guided sightseeing tours plus a river cruise, a pride picnic, a special day for children, numerous nightlife opportunities with themed parties in venues throughout Prague, music and of course a magnificent carnival like parade through the city center of Prague.
