Melvins
On Thursday October 13th, 2011 the Melvins will rock the Lucerna Music Bar. Melvins formed in 1983 and are known for their music that is influenced by Black Flag, Swans, Flipper and Wipers, Kiss and Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath. Melvins often play slow tempos and their sound has in turn influenced many bands including Nirvana, Soundgarden, Green River, Tool and Boris. Melvins is headed by singer and guitarist Buzz Osborne a.k.a. King Buzzo.
