DesignBlok '11

It’s that time again for fashion, design and more. The 13th annual DesignBlok from October 4th – 9th, 2011 with a theme of ‘The City’ will take place all over the city of Prague in selected showrooms, boutiques and galleries and will feature two superstudios this year. The first superstudio will be in the Futurama office building, in Karlín, Prague 8, located next to the famous Invalidovna building. The Futurama office building offers the Caffé Futurama and more than 6,000m2, ensuring that you will be able to see a wide variety of intriguing items at this design superstudio. The second design superstudio, which will be focused on light and fashion, will be in a historical building in the city center of Prague (for further information about other locations visit the user-friendly website of DesignBlok). The 13th DesignBlok will feature unique presentations of new designs, exhibitions, fashion shows and lectures. All of the events are concentrated in Holešovice, Karlín, Old Town and New Town. DesignBlok ’11 will also feature a special fashion week event, which will take place in the Art Nouveau Municipal House and the Mayor’s Residence. Designblok Fashion Week will have all the parameters of a real world-class Fashion Week. Opening times are 10:00 a.m. - 21:00 p.m., except on Sunday when the exhibition closes at 19:00.
