You are invited to the concert called Playing with the Musical Alphabet (Hrátky hudební A-BE-CE-DY) that will take place on November 5th, 2011 at 10 a.m. and also at 12 a.m. (the same concert) as a part of the Cycle of Concerts for Children held at the Dvořák Hall of Prague's Rudolfinum. At the concert children will get acquainted with music terminology and its application in classical music. Actors of Malé Vinohradské divadlo will demonstrate in an interesting way what terms, such as tone, musical alphabet, harmony, chord, dynamics, rhythm, scale and more mean. At the concert you will hear symphonies by Ludwig van Beethoven, W. A. Mozart, Joseph Haydn and The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi. The guest of the concert will be the Czech actress Jana Presissová, while the patron of the whole cycle is the violinist Pavel Šporcl. In the vestibule in front of Dvořák Hall children will be asked to answer a contest question and will have a possibility of winning interesting prices. Only Czech commentary will be provided.
