The exhibition called The Human Body that has shocked and at the same time fascinated already millions of visitors all over the world will be again in Prague between March 10 and June 10, 2012 at Křižík's Pavilion in Holešovice. The current exhibition brings dozens of new exhibits and its extent exceeds everything that has been seen in the Czech Republic until now. Thanks to the revolutionary and unique polymer preservation method in which the liquid in a human body is replaced with silicone, real human bodies with preserved skeleton, muscles, reproductive organs, bloodstream, respiratory organs and other parts are on display. The exhibits are shown in various postures and so visitors have a possibility to observe what exactly is happening in their body when they move or relax. Exhibits also show damaged human bodies as a result of gluttony and lack of exercise or healthy lungs and black lungs of a smoker. Every visitor to the exhibition therefore has the possibility not only to learn in detail about various functional mechanisms of a body but also to understand its vulnerability and the necessity to take care of it well and responsibly. Tickets for the exhibition are available for advance sale at Ticketpro and are sold for specific time slots.
