Czech Press Photo 2011

Till the end of January 2012 visitors have the chance to see another year of the Czech Press Photo exhibit presenting photographs by Czech and Slovak professional photojournalists taken in the Czech Republic and abroad. Altogether 500 photographs capturing the events and phenomena of the past year with all of its action, emotion, and suspense are to be seen between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m at the Old Town Hall. The photographs include the winning photos of all thirteen categories including the Photograph of the Year capturing the disturbances in the north of Bohemia by photographer Stanislav Krupař (Reflex magazine). Entrance to the exhibition is CZK 100, students and senior citizens pay only CZK 60. A 64-page catalogue of awarded photographs has been published to accompany the exhibition.
