Opening of a New Prague Gallery Kvalitář

A new Prague-based Kvalitář gallery exhibiting and selling art will be ceremoniously opened on January 17th, 2012. Kvalitář aims to become a place where contemporary fine art will meet with design and create a harmonious symbiosis. The aim of the gallery is also to renew the function of fine art as a part of everyday life. The exhibition launch will take place at Senovážné náměstí 17, Prague 1 from 6 p.m. Works of contemporary Czech artists in combination with icons of world and Czech design will be presented. Visitors will see the works of Petr Dub, Eva Eisler, Adéla Fejtková, Milan Houser, Jaroslav Juřica, Markéta Kratochvílová, Libor Lípa, Josef Mladějovský, Pavel Mrkus, Jan Plecháč and Štěpán Růžička. Jazz singer Yvonne Sanchez will perform in the course of the evening. The sponsors of the project are Mitte studio, Jaga, mh architekt, ERCO Lighting GmbH and Gira.
