The British band Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne will perform on June 6th, 2012 in Prague's O2 Arena and the dream of many of its fans will come true. After 33 years Black Sabbath will come together in their original line-up consisting of the controversial Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bass guitarist Terry “Geezer” Butler and drummer Bill Ward in order to make a studio album and set off for a world tour. The hard-rock Black Sabbath in their incomplete line-up have had already several concerts in the Czech Republic, the first one being in Ostrava in the 1990s. The band was formed under the name Earth in 1968 in Birmingham as a heavy blues rock band. In 1969 it changed its name to Black Sabbath and nowadays is considered to be one of the founding bands of heavy metal. During its music career Black Sabbath have sold more than 70 million albums, received several Grammy Awards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll House of Fame in 2006. Tickets for the Prague concert in the value from CZK 1,190 to CZK 1,750 can be purchased at Sazka selling points.
