National Gallery in Prague Celebrates its Anniversary with Free Admission
On February 4th and 5th, 2012 there will be free entrance to all exhibits of the National Gallery in Prague on the occasion of the 216th anniversary of its foundation. All National Gallery exhibits, that is Veletržní Palace, Kinsky Palace, House of the Black Madonna, St. George's Convent, Convent of St. Agnes of Bohemia, Sternberg Palace a Schwarzenberg Palace will offer rich accompanying programs including guided tours and fine art workshops for children and adults. The National Gallery, whose history started to be written already in 1796, celebrates its anniversary every year with a weekend of free admission. Enjoy this weekend full of art!
