ChapiteauX in Prague's Letná

42 performances by the Czech Cirk La Putyka troupe that have been entirely sold-out in its home, La Fabrika Theater in Prague, will be staged within the summer ChapiteauX project that will take place in Prague's Letenské Sady park in cooperation with the Letní Letná festival in June and July. The Czech pioneers in the area of nouveau cirque (contemporary circus) will perform all its existing performances – La Putyka, Up End Down, A cirkus bude?! and Slapstick Sonata – that the troupe has created over the three and a half years of its existence. The performances will take place in a big top tent with a capacity of 500 people provided by Winterfest, an international festival of contemporary circus that takes place in Salzburg, Austria every year. Spectators can look forward to acrobatics, clown acting and dance performances by 32 actors, dancers, and acrobats that will make sure the atmosphere of the festival is unique and full of inspirational imagination. Besides evening performances visitors to the festival can also look forward to daily scheduled events.
