Prague Food Festival 2012
It's that time of the year again – time for the sixth straight year of the biggest gastronomic event in Prague! During this three-day feast of delectable delights you will be charmed by the best chefs and sommeliers in the Czech Republic, as well as by dozens of food and drink producers. From May 25th-27th, 2012, the Royal Garden of the Prague Castle will feature dishes and drinks from local as well as foreign cuisine prepared by restaurants from Maurer's Grand Restaurant guide. Frog legs, sweet and salty beetles and other insects, alcoholic ice-cream, stuffed duck stomachs, parmesan ice-cream with figs, and many more usual and unusual delicacies will be on the menu. You can look forward to 50 gastronomic stalls, three big tasting tents and more than 500 places to sit and enjoy the delights of the day. According to organizers, the Prague Food Festival 2012 will offer the richest program in its history. Tastings, workshops, music performances and contests will take place. You will see a Neapolitan band, Cuban musicians, Andalusian flamenco dancers, and many famous Czech personalities.
