One World 2010 features over 100 films and accompanying events to give focus to human rights issues all over the world. 1600 films were submitted from over 30 countries with only the best 101 documentaries being chosen for viewing. The 12th One World festival will be held in the grand city of Prague from March 10 – March 18, 2010, after which the films will branch off to regional One World festivals in 29 cities in the Czech Republic until early April. This year kicks off with Green Days from the country of Iran; the film displays current day examples of human rights being repressed in the country. The main film screening takes place once again at Lucerna Cinema with other venues including Světozor, Divadlo Archa, Atlas, The French Institute, The Municipal Library of Prague and Evald. Tickets are available for purchase from March 3rd at the venues for 70 CZK.
