Vogue 1st Anniversary

VOGUE, one of the MECCA’s most successful parties, will be celebrating its 1st anniversary! Resident DJane Ladydee Jane launched the first Vogue party in May 2009 and since then she has brought interesting Czech and foreign DJ guests for you. You were dancing to the rhythms of French DJane Miss Duckin’, Dutch DJ Jesse Voorne and Belgium’s Fred Baker, as well as many great Czech DJs. But the main attraction has always been the original fashion shows you’ve enjoyed at almost every VOGUE party. Vogue is the only Prague party associated with fashion shows and has introduced, for example, the design studio Odd-Room Designers, the New Yorker brand and fashion design by students from Prague and Liberec. On Friday 14 May you can enjoy a special birthday edition. LadyDee Jane has prepared a “gift” for all the guests at May’s VOGUE party in the form of a joint appearance with violinist Michael Hejč. At the same time, VOGUE’s resident DJane has invited those DJs who’ve regularly appeared at previous parties, DJs Eddie Sender and Carl Lope. The main stage will feature a line-up that usually performs on the second stage (DJ DejFF and Trancegate with Clara Bailar). Clara will be enlivening the sets with her singing. VOGUE doesn’t just mean great music but an extravagant fashion show as well. Be sure not to miss May’s continuation of a unique fashion show dedicated to the world’s religions. Come to see how young designers have transformed the ideas of Judaism, Islam and Hinduism into beautiful and bold dresses. The fashion show devoted to Islam will feature attractive belly dancers.
