Do not miss a unique performance of the acclaimed movie Amadeus by Miloš Forman with LIVE music at the Kongresové centrum in Prague on the 13th of November 2016 at 1:30 p.m. This remarkable screening of the film on a vast HD screen will feature live music performed by an orchestra and chorus. The classic movie Amadeus (1984) - winner of eight Oscars - directed by Miloš Forman will be screened in Prague just a month after its premiere in London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall (the 14th of October 2016) in its original version. Adapted from Sir Peter Shaffer’s original stage play, Amadeus is an aural and visual treat for all the senses. This thrilling story of the rivalry between an average composer Antonio Salieri (F. Murray Abraham) and genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Tom Hulce) was filmed in Prague 32 years ago with many Czech filmmakers and actors taking part. Through Mozart music, Forman was able to give today’s viewer a top classic music experience. “Amadeus weaves a beautiful, tragic fable, enchanting to children and adults alike. It has gore, a pact with God, celebrity, a masked stranger, murder and some of the best music ever written. What other film offers half as much?” (The Guardian). The performance organized by JV Agentura will feature the PKF – Prague Philharmonia Orchestra and Canti ti Praga choir. As in the Royal Albert Hall, it will be conducted by Ludwig Wicki, piano solo – Jan Bartoš. Tickets from 700 CZK to 2000 CZK can be purchased from Ticket Art, Ticketportal and Ticketpro networks.
