Shakespeare and Sons
Shakespeare and Sons is one of the best English bookstores in Prague. Situated in picturesque Mala Strana, Shakespeare and Sons has a very good selection of English books of all genres. A small section in the back of the store hosts a variety of very inexpensive classics. Shakespeare and Sons, located in a whimsical building, also boasts a historic cellar reading room with gorgeous Charles Bridge views where you can chill out with your favorite book and a cup of coffee. It is also interesting to note that the basement of Shakespeare and Sons is often used as an event venue for open mic nights, music, art exhibitions and more. If culture and books are your favorite things, then Shakespeare and Sons is just the place for you. And if you happen to venture outside of Prague to the magical Renaissance town of Cesky Krumlov, Shakespeare and Sons has a lovely shop there as well!
