Lancôme

Lancôme is one of the finest luxury beauty brands on the market. Established by Armand Petitjean in France in 1935, Lancôme was created in order to provide a brand that would deliver French elegance around the world. With a simple motive and quality products, it was not long until the brand name was a household name with women throughout the world. The name of the brand, Lancôme, was inspired by a castle ruin, Le Château de Lancosme, while the company’s symbol, a single rose, was inspired by the wild roses present in the area of the chateau. In 1964 the beauty giant L'Oréal acquired the company and made the beauty brand a part of the Luxury Products section. Lancôme Paris offers high-end skincare, fragrances and cosmetics and is represented by famous actresses, supermodels and perfumers. A Lancôme Paris luxury boutique can be found in the Palladium shopping center and off of Wenceslas Square in the Old Town district of Prague.
