St. Michal Art School

Located in the attractive city center of Prague is the School of St. Michael – Leisure Center, which offers art classes and art workshops for all ages, from beginners to advanced art students, for both the gifted and less artistically skilled. Besides art classes, which include painting, graphic design, jewelry, drawing, ceramics and much more, the school can prepare applicants for admissions to universities and secondary schools. The School of St. Michael was founded in 1994 and offers team building events for companies, art courses for schools and kindergartens. The School of St. Michael also sells art, pottery, textiles, small gifts and art supplies. The school is located in a picturesque former monastery, which belonged to the neighboring St. Michael Church, hence the name of the school. The building is listed, with a traditional terraced yard, which adjoins the garden – which was once called the Pumpkin Garden. The result is a quiet oasis of silence and tranquility, even though it is located close to bustling Národní Třída.
