The Small Vinohrady Theater has been renamed. It is now called Divadlo D21.
The Malé Vinohradské Divadlo (Small Vinohrady Theater) is located on Záhřebská Street in Prague's residential area of Vinohrady, between the Náměstí Míru and I.P. Pavlova tram stops. The ambitious acting troupe cooperates mainly with young theater directors who have a peculiar view of the world. The theater repertoire comprises both classical dramas, as well as dramatizations of literary works and new original works. The troupe cooperates regularly, for example, with David Drábek, one of the most successful contemporary playwrights and directors. Starting in the 2011/2012 season the theater began to prepare thematic theater seasons. The Malé Vinohradské Divado aims to feature quality drama, build its own distinct name and speak to spectators of all age groups who are interested in life around them. For this reason you will find both evening performances and improvisations for adults, as well as morning and afternoon performances for preschool children, elementary school children (junior and middle classes) and high school students. Tickets for performances can be reserved via telephone or email.
