Design Salon

Design Salon is the brainchild of architect Mojmír Ranný of Ranný Architects, who created the company in 1994 and with it entered the market of high quality yet affordable design furniture. Design Salon offers unique design furniture in Prague and is intended for those who wish for higher quality furniture than what can be found at Scandanavian chain stores in the Czech Republic. At Design Salon you can find furniture for both public premises and private households including sofas, armchairs, chairs, tables and lamps made with quality materials such as leather, glass, plastics, wood, fabric and metal. All of the furniture is designed by Mojmír Ranný himself and his colleagues Martin Pazderník, Štefan Šulek and Marek Šebestyén from Ranný Architects. The pieces are created with high European standards in mind and are produced in small batches. It is important to note that Design Salon is also open to ideas from new, young designers, especially outstanding gradutates from art schools, which helps the company to support local Czech design.
