1st International Wedding Fair at Prague’s Municipal House

In connection with the 100-year anniversary of the Municipal House, probably the most famous Art Nouveau building in Prague, the Municipal House and the Art Nouveau Francouzská restaurace will host the 1st International Wedding Fair. The fair, which will take place from February 3rd through February 5th, 2012 at the Municipal House, will be held under the auspices of Prague Mayor Bohuslav Svoboda and fashion designer Blanka Matragi. The wedding fair will be open for the general public on February 4th and 5th and a rich accompanying program including fashion shows, music performances and contests will be waiting for the fair guests. The wedding fair will culminate with a “live” wedding where the Prague mayor will perform a marriage ceremony for winning couple of the ongoing SMS contest. The winners will receive a wedding ceremony and prizes in the value of CZK 1 million. On the occasion of the one hundredth anniversary of the Municipal House the Francouzská Restaurace has prepared a special anniversary menu, the composition of which historically relates to the dishes and drinks served at Francouzská restaurace 100 years ago.
