Martin Žampach

The young Czech designer Martin Žampach specializes mainly in industrial design, but follows also the glassblowing tradition of his family, which he enhances by his experience and sense for timeless design. In the field of product and industrial design Martin Žampach designs for his company clients competitive design that will help them get ahead of their rivals. He puts emphasis on smart solutions that will help companies reduce their costs and optimize their manufacturing process. Considering his love for glass design that he studied at the Secondary Art School in Luhačovice Martin Žampach contributes as one of the few young designers that is spreading the Czech tradition of glass production in the Czech Republic and abroad. In 2006 Martin Žampach graduated in the field of industrial design at the Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín. He studied product design for one year at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland. Moreover, he has rich work experience from abroad – he worked for an architectural studio in Londrina, Brazil, for the renowned CuldeSac studio in the Spanish Valencia, completed a two-month internship at Art.Lebedev Studio, the biggest design studio in Russia and also worked for the Czech FLEX/cocoon design studio, where he dealt with industrial design and structural packaging.
