Beas Dhaba is one of the only vegetarian restaurants in Prague. In a country focused on meat and dumplings, vegetarians often have trouble eating out in Prague. No need to worry with Beas around! This Indian Dhaba has three central locations in Prague, one on Belehradska St., one on Vladislavova St. and one at Tynska 19, located in a lovely quiet courtyard mere minutes from Old Town Square. The forth location is in the more residential Prague 8. Beas focuses on Northern Indian cuisine, featuring dahl, sabji, basmati rice, soup, chutney, dosa, parantha, thali, chai, and fresh juices. The food is very affordable and excellent, prepared from scratch daily and contains no traces of eggs, meat, or fish. The decor is simple and bright. Yellow walls adorned with original paintings by Milos Vacik welcome you into a cafeteria-style restaurant with comfortable wooden tables and chairs. Soothing tropical music plays quietly in the calming background while a mix of tourists and locals munch happily on their delicious meals. Beas is a wonderful spot for vegetable lovers and their meat eating adventurous friends, as the food is zesty, tasty, healthy, exotic and inexpensive. The English speaking staff is very friendly and helpful.
