Named after Franz Kafka's love Milena Jesenska, this cafe is operated by the Franz Kafka Society. The famous writer was not a patron, as the cafe was opened later on, but his spirit, traditional hospitality and style are very much present. The menu features a fine selection of coffees, a small but good wine list and of course, Czech beer. It is a good place to try traditional Czech dishes, most notably the goulash. The main selling point of this establishment is the stunning view of the Astronomical Clock on Old Town Square; you have a private view of the 12 apostles rotating inside the clock at the top of every hour, definitely a perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee or a robust glass of red. Complimentary daily newspapers are also available.
