Aromi - Enoteca Con Cucina

Riccardo Lucque, an Italian chef with rich international experience in Manhattan and London, opened the Aromi Enoteca Con Cucina restaurant in 2005. In accordance with its motto "simplicity, tradition and passion" this restaurant offers to the inhabitants of Prague as well as the visitors, a unique opportunity to taste authentic and delicious Italian cuisine with emphasis on seafood. The interior designed by Mitte Studio also respects the above-mentioned motto. It features wooden chairs, tables and floors, as a result the interior impresses you with its simplicity, which resembles Italian sea shore trattorias and allows you to focus all of your attention on the unique harmony of tastes of the dishes served. The menu is truly colorful. Start off your Mediterranean feast with one of the starters, which include such specialties as sautéed octopus over mousse of chickpea, buffalo mozzarella over grilled Sicilian eggplant and delicious soups. On a hot summer day you will surely appreciate the wide selection of salads; seafood lovers will enjoy the salad of fresh artichokes from Metauro Valley toped with salted anchovies. The true concert of flavors can then be completed by a braised veal neck served with chickpea purée or by a beef fillet steak served with braised artichoke and a Montepulciano wine reduction. Do not miss the local pasta selection, which although not too varied, includes such culinary treasures as spaghetti "aglio olio e peperoncino" topped with tartar of fresh tuna or tortellini filled with fresh peas, mint and fresh tomato sauce and guanciale. All the pasta dishes can be ordered as a starter or as the main course. The restaurant is located on the quiet Manesova street in the attractive residential quarter of Vinohrady, just a few minutes' walk from the Riegrovy sady park, where you can - pleasantly full - enjoy an afternoon stroll. Aromi Enoteca Con Cucina is definitely a winner on Prague's Italian restaurant scene, a culinary hit that immediately catches your taste buds and keeps you begging for more. The Aromi restaurant is located right across the street from the Aromi La Bottega delicatessen store where you can purchase delicious and traditional Italian products to go and is also the sister restaurant to La Finestra in Cucina.
