La Rotonde in Radisson Blu Alcron Hotel

The Alcron hotel, La Rotonde and Alcron are considered to be synonyms for excellent food by many Czechs. This is clearly no coincidence. Located in the near vicinity of Wenceslas Square right in the center of Prague, this legendary hotel hosts two restaurants, one of them being an Art Deco gem, La Rotonde. Its unique circular design (yes, resembling a rotunda), stylish interior as well as a varied menu, might be the reasons why this restaurant has repeatedly been graded one of the ten best restaurants in the Czech Republic by the prestigious Maurer's Grand Restaurant Guide. When Roman Paulus, a true culinary magician with rich international experience and who also happens to be a grilling expert, became the new Chef of the Alcron Hotel last year not only was he fully able to maintain the high quality traditionally associated with this eatery but he also brought plenty of fresh energy and ideas. The results are different sections on the menu including one-pot meals, grilled specialties and Czech specialties. What is more, La Rotonde offers a very enjoyable and stylish way to spend a part of your weekend with its Sunday brunch, complete with an array of fresh seafood, meats, and salads accompanied by live jazz music, perhaps a nice weekend tip for families with children since children dine at a reduced price or completely free. Every Friday night you can take part in dance parties in the rhythm of swing at the La Rotonde restaurant while the Saturday entertainment shows called "Alcron for Children" are dedicated to families with children. Enjoy the traditional quality and elegant design of this top Czech restaurant. We recommend the tartare of yellow fin tuna served with quail eggs, capers, pickled ginger and Keta caviar as a starter, corn-fed free range baby chicken scented with lavender and served with potato puree and young vegetables as a main course, and strawberry mille feuille with mascarpone cheese and bitter chocolate to top it all off and send your taste buds into a frenzy.
