The Billiard and Card Rooms in the Municipal House

There is something very magical about the Municipal House in Prague. A major work of Art Nouveau expression from the major Czech artists at the time including Alfons Mucha, the Municipal House is one of the most important cultural centers and buildings in Prague. The building has a grand interior with a whimsical atmosphere that reminds one of the glories and the splendor of the first Czechoslovak Republic. The Municipal House boasts the splendid Smetana Concert Hall, the grand Municipal House Café, restaurants, bars, exhibition halls and the newly renovated Billiard and Card Rooms. The magic of the game rooms has been rediscovered thanks to a meticulous reconstruction of the area; the beautiful Secession era rooms are more gorgeous than ever and are available for private parties of up to 250 guests.
