La Trattoria T

Located a bit further afield than the center of Prague, but nonetheless an easy metro ride and a short bus ride away, La Trattoria T will make you want to go the extra mile to sample their delicious authentic Tuscan cuisine made by Italian trained chefs. You definitely need to make reservations for this restaurant as it is most often packed full of hungry clients happily sipping on Italian wine and sampling fresh handmade pastas and simply to die for Tiramisu. Once you enter the cozy attractive restaurant warmed by the huge Italian oven, you will feel right at home as the friendly staff show you to your table. Fresh bread and garlic spread are served as a simple and tasty beginner. The menu is large and offers an extensive variety of mouthwatering soups, appetizers, fresh crisp salads, filling homemade pastas, scrumptious pizzas, meat and fish dishes grilled to order and of course, a dessert menu including a near to perfect Tiramisu this side of the Arno. These are some of our tempting favorites: for the starter, Carpaccio con Parmagiano di Reggiano (Marinated, thinly sliced Raw Filet Mignon, Parmesan di Reggiano and Rucola), for the soup course, Vegetable Soup with Parmesan, for a light refreshing salad the Insalata con Pollo (Mixed Greens with Grilled Chicken Breast and Orange Wedges, Walnuts), the Melanzane e Zucchine Pizza (Grilled Eggplant and Zucchini, Tomato, Mozzarella, Parmesan), the Bucatini all Ragú di Anatra (Duck Ragout with Red Wine and Tomatoes, Parmesan), the Filettini con gocce di tartufo (Fillet Mignon with Truffle Sauce and Potato au Gratin) and the Tonno al Limone (Baked Yellowfin Tuna wrapped in Thin Pastry with Lemon Butter Sauce) and last but surely never least, the twice above-mentioned Tiramisu. La Trattoria T is a fantastic place to sample some real Tuscan treasures.
