CAFE MEDUZA IS CURRENTLY CLOSED.
Located in quiet residential Vinohrady, this cozy cafe and bar is a secret to most tourists and very popular with the locals. The perfectly Bohemian interior is an eclectic mix of mismatched tables complete with antique sugar bowls, chairs, glasses and clientele, who range from arty intellectuals to curious grandparents. The busy walls are covered with old black and white photos, antique paintings, and new art as well.Meduza is a cozy establishment with very friendly service, tasty Czech snacks and entrees to munch on, including goulash and garlic soup (highly recommended), Velvet beer on tap, good coffee and (mainly) Czech and Moravian wine. It fills up quite quickly during the evenings, so it is best to reserve a table; you can also book the back room for personal parties, where smoking or non-smoking is your preference.
