CAFE INDIGO IS CURRENTLY CLOSED.
Located in Prague’s famous Old Town by the public library and city hall is café Indigo, a café with very non-old town prices. The cafe is a student hangout in the center of the city where you can find an intelligent artsy crowd philosophizing over glasses of the world’s best beer. The large oblong and somewhat industrial looking space features temporary art exhibitions on its walls, a strange metal monster sculpture overlooking the café’s patrons, metal tables with wooden chairs and a long bar. In the back area you will find a quiet non-smoking section complete with mismatched furniture, plants and large windows. Café Indigo offers a varied menu with light meals and light prices to match, which is something of a rarity in the center of Prague. We recommend from the menu the Chicken Skewer served with French fries and the Chicken Tacos served with real salsa and sour cream. Having kept its student charm and prices, Café Indigo is a cool and authentic spot to hang out with Czech and International students without breaking the bank.
Address: Platnéřská 11, Praha 1.
