Friends Coffee House

Located in New Town, is the newly opened Friends Coffee House. This immensely popular coffee house has it all and you will be sure to fall under its spell. Friends Coffee House, a spacious and non-smoking café is a welcome addition to the Prague café scene and is situated in a lovingly renovated building that presents an attractive, unique and historic space. Operated by two avid travelers and their friendly staff, the café boasts photographs of their travels from all over the world and serves excellent, quality coffee freshly roasted in their own coffee roaster named Matylda. The staff is happy to show you and explain how the coffee roaster works as well. If you wish you can also send in a photo of yourself and Friends Coffee House will add it to the photos of people and places that decorate the walls, in this sense you can be part of the café. In addition to the varied photographs that line the walls, Friends Coffee House has a framed signed baseball from U.S. President Barack Obama. The café proudly hosts cultural events such as open-mic and poetry reading nights and also features a play area for children complete with a microwave for baby food and a changing table. In addition to the wonderful space, excellent coffee and friendly atmosphere, Friends Coffee House also features tasty, homemade sandwiches and salads, perfect for a quick, quality lunch (the BLT is delicious). In addition the establishment offers a fine assortment of wines, ice cream drinks including Coca Cola and Root Beer Floats (the only ice cream floats in Prague!), Mint Sprite and yogurt smoothies made from their own recipes with Activia yogurt in many flavors including forest fruit and strawberry. Friends Coffee House has an extensive library including daily newspapers and books as well as a newly reconstructed business center called Easymeetings.cz, perfect for central meetings in the New Town district of Prague. The meeting room located right in the Friends Coffee House has a capacity of up to 15 people and boasts modern equipment such as a PC with Windows 7, an LCD panel perfect for presentations as well as a laser printer. Let the tasty coffee and snacks from Friends Coffee House brighten up your business or personal meetings.
