Kogo Kolowrat Palace

Located in Old Town across from Prague’s famous Estate Theater is the Kolowrat Palace, home to a branch of the National Theater and the upscale Kogo Kolowrat Palace. The Italian-style establishment is a sister restaurant to the KOGO Restaurants and boasts the same quality and class. Kogo Kolowrat Palace boasts a beautifully renovated historic interior that can seat up to 120 guests in comfort and style, and serves affordable and scrumptious meals including breakfast alongside quality coffee, wine, liquor and champagne, plus Lobkowicz beer. From the menu we recommend the Risotto al nero di seppia con polpo alla griglia (Black squid risotto with grilled octopus), the Straccetti fatti in casa "Mare Monti” (Home Made straccetti "Mare Monti” (with mushrooms, zucchini, onion and grilled prawns), the Medaglioni di pollo ripieni con speck, mozzarella e spinaci (Chicken medallions layered with Tyrolean bacon, mozzarella and spinach), and the Tagliata gratinata al rosmarino con fette di pera arrosto, gnocchi di patate e salsa di prugne (Sliced beef sirloin with roasted pear with rosemary, potato gnocchi and plum sauce). The dessert menu is extensive and we recommend sampling a bit of everything. As an extra-added bonus, Kogo Kolowrat Palace features an outdoor seating area where you can admire the splendid Estate Theater.
