Located at the bottom of the leafy, lush Petrin Hill is the brand new establishment, Artisan Restaurant & Café. This little hidden non-smoking gem is an intimate and comfortable place to spend a romantic candlelit evening with a loved one and a perfect place for a 2 or 3-course business lunch starting at only 95 CZK. The location is beneficial as you can sample the delicious varieties of lovingly prepared food and then continue your relaxing evening or quick lunch with a stroll or brisk walk through magical Petrin Hill. The warm and cozy neutral interior features dark wooden tables, hand-painted wall art in earthy tones, a multitude of candles and unique light fixtures. Since the intimate restaurant is boutique size you can be sure that the service is as top-notch as Artisan’s international cuisine. This traditional eatery uses only the best ingredients including fresh local produce when available and prepares their own soup stock, bread, sauce, pasta and dessert lovingly each day to insure the best quality and taste. The menu at Artisan Restaurant & Café changes seasonally, making it one of the best boutique restaurants to keep going back to in order to sample traditional yet elegant flavors at their best. We recommend from Artisan’s current menu the Blue Cheese Portabella with roasted shallot cream sauce as an appetizer, the Caribbean Salad with greens, mango, jicama, toasted coconut, red onions & spiced pecans with raspberry-poppy seed vinaigrette, the Pumpkin Risotto with arugula and Parmesan as a main or the Grilled Salmon with pearl couscous, chorizo, slow-roasted tomatoes and lime veal jus, and for dessert the delicious Chocolate Lave Cake. This charming restaurant is available for private parties (up to 60 seated, 100 standing) and also features a pretty garden terrace (up to 30).
