Ligne Roset is a family-run eco-friendly French company that produces high standard design home furnishings and is known for their collaboration with established and up-and-coming designers in contemporary design. The beginning of Ligne Roset was a humble one, with Antoine Roset opening a factory for wood processing in the town of Montagnieu in the Ain Province of France. At his factory by the forests of Montagnieu, Antoine Roset started off with producing wooden umbrellas and walking sticks, alongside chair frames. After WWII the focus of the small factory under Antoine’s grandson Jean, turned to producing quality furniture for schools, hospitals and retirement homes; ten successful years later the company focused on the domestic market and started with the help of Jean’s sons, to collaborate with talented designers. The brand became official in 1973 with the opening of the first Ligne Roset store where the iconic furniture piece Togo by Michel Ducaroy was introduced. Currently Ligne Roset, a once small company turned formidable force in the world of design, operates 200 stores worldwide and has over 900 international retail distributors. A passion for bold and exciting design paired with quality, eco-friendly construction has paved the clear way for Ligne Roset in the prestigious design world and will continue to do so for many years down the road. Ligne Roset offers unique furniture for bold statements in every room in your home, office furniture, quality mattresses, linens, lighting and decorations including vases, rugs and textiles. With a respect for family tradition, all of the Ligne Roset products are made at their factory in Briord, France, where quality control and a commitment to perfection are practiced.
