If you are to experience Peruvian cuisine for the first time make sure to try the delicious Pulpo al Olivo – specially prepared octopus with black olives, the Pato a la Maracuya estilo Casa Andina – medium roasted duck breast with passion fruit sauce served with mashed sweet and white potatoes, and the Lomo Saltado, Arroz, Papa Frita – marinated pieces of beer sirloin stir fried with fresh vegetables and sautéed with Peruvian Pisco. For dessert do not miss the Copón de Mousse de Chocolate Blanco y Sauco – white chocolate mousse with elderberry sauce. When it comes to drinks there is also a lot to explore. Your dish can be accompanied by a bottle of the legendary Inca Cola, the Peruvian version of Coke with a bubblegum like taste, or, if this is not your cup of tea, you can pick from the fine selection of Latin American wines. Your Peruvian experience would not be complete without trying at least one item from the extensive cocktail and shot menu.
