Pivovarsky Dum

Pivovarsky Dum is a bustling restaurant, bar and brewery all in one in the hopping New Town district of Prague. Pivovarsky Dum opened in 1998 and has been going strong ever since as a popular microbrewery and restaurant and has proven to be one of the best places to sample the best of the best Czech cuisine and thirst quenching Czech micro beer. The interior is warm and inviting and you may find yourself staying for hours and hours tasting the delicious beers. Pivovarsky Dum offers these special beers on tap: Štěpán - Czech style classic pale lager (unfiltered and unpasteurized), Štěpán - Czech style classic dark lager (Unfiltered, unpasteurized pilsner style dark lager with a full hoppy flavor), Weizen (top fermented German beer made with both barley and wheat malts), Sour Cherry Beer (bouquet of hops and cherries served with a real cherry in the glass), Coffee Beer (dark lager with coffee hints), Banana Beer (top fermented wheat beer with the fine aroma and flavor of banana) and Nettle Beer (a delicate green beer made of nettle leaves). Pivovarsky Dum also offers their own bottled beers including Šamp - beer champagne and Black Hill Beer, an herbal beer aperitif. Other beers from Pivovarsky Dum’s portfolio that are available at special times of the year include: Original Stout, Märzen, Bock and Chili Beer. The food menu is extensive and features many dishes made with beer including Czech specialties such as Roasted Pork served with dumplings and sauerkraut, Brewer’s Goulash with dumplings and a Roasted Pork Knuckle (a feast to be sure!) served with mustard and horseradish. The menu offers food for everyone including vegetarian dishes, fresh salads, fish, small snacks, desserts and much more.
