Verreum

The VERREUM brand presents design glass that combines old glassmaking techniques used in the territory of the Czech Republic for many centuries with the contemporary designs of the foremost Czech and foreign designers. VERREUM was created by the SPACE CZ Company for the purpose of promoting and selling Czech hand-made glass both in the Czech Republic and abroad. Glass gems in the form of vases, bowls or lighting can be found side-by-side with furniture icons in the Prague showroom of Vitra Koncept. Among the VERREUM designers are such significant names as Michal Froněk and Jan Němeček from the Olgoj Chorchoj studio, as well as Petr Vaďura, Rony Plesl, Leoš Smejkal and Dagmar Pánková. VERREUM also cooperates with foreign designers including the world-renowned Arik Levy from France, Sebastian Herkner and Michael Koenig from Germany, as well as with Karim Rashid, Sebastian Bergne, Defne Koz and Marco Susani. VERREUM also aims at preserving and promoting the great name of Czech glass around the world and therefore regularly presents its newest products at exhibitions and trade fairs worldwide.
