Na houpacím koni Family Center

The family center Na houpacím koni (On the rocking horse) located in the heart of the Prague quarter Smíchov offers a great variety of activities not only for children and their parents from this neighborhood. It was founded by Tereza Havrdová Kováříková based on her personal experience as a mother on maternity leave, so you can be sure that you and your children will love the local offer of activities. In the center you and your children can dance, sing, play musical instruments, draw, paint, learn foreign languages, perform theater, visit exhibitions, celebrations and many other events. The family center Na houpacím koni offers a wide selection of courses for children and their parents (dances, games, singing, etc.), as well as courses only for children (theater, dance and art workshops, and the like) or only for adults (belly dancing, gravid yoga, flamenco, etc.). You can come to one lesson or pay for a three-month course in advance. While your child is in the class, you can spend the time in the local café and be still within reach in case your child needs assistance in coping with being independent. Parents acquire valuable information and advice in the center, while children learn to be independent and make first friends. Now and then you can also visit theater performances by any of the amateur theater groups. On the website of the family center (www.nahoupacimkoni.cz) there is an online shop, where you can buy beautiful wooden toys by Ostheimer and Grimm's. The family center also operates St. Prokop Kindergarten in Prague's Jinonice.
