Bandol Wine Bar Located on a narrow lane next to the Imposing Tyn Church, this cellar wine bar is sure to please. Only steps from Old Town Square, but an underground world away; enter the hotel Cerny Slon restaurant, turn right and head downstairs to an intimate candle lit exposed brick cellar wine bar complete with wrought iron lanterns, paintings and wooden wine racks. The atmosphere is relaxed, quiet and warm. Bandol features a good wine list with varieties from France, Spain, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil and of course, the Czech Republic. The ruby red color of the Portugal Blue is vibrant while the taste is enjoyable and pleasant. A nice complement to the Portugal Blue is the affordable cheese plate served with Czech bread and nuts. They also serve scrumptious looking Czech fare from the upstairs restaurant. Bandol wine bar is a good choice for a relaxing quiet night on the town.
