Prime Prague Location
The gorgeous Baroque palace is directly in the heart of Malá Strana on a narrow cobblestone street that leads to the main thoroughfare that goes to Charles Bridge. The area is calm and peaceful despite the bustling crowds nearby making their way to the world famous bridge. The residence is next to the Church of Our Lady beneath the Chain, one of the city’s oldest churches - with original pieces of the structure dating back to 1158. The church and the palace, alongside the majority of the buildings on this impressive square, were once the property of the Knights of Malta. Across from the palace is Cukr Kava Limonada, a popular bistro for light meals. Directly around the corner you will find Cafe de Paris, a traditional French brasserie, and the interesting Lennon Wall. The colorful wall leads to Kampa Island, a whimsical leafy park dotted with trees and benches home to Kampa Museum and bars / cafes. Malostranské náměstí, the main square in the area and a convenient tram hub, is just a short walk away. Prague’s sought after sights are easily accessible on foot – be sure to wear comfortable shoes!
