An unforgettable holiday experience awaits at Lázeňská N°4, a Boutique Residence with only 14 apartments housed in a gorgeously renovated Baroque palace just 100 meters from Charles Bridge and 200 meters from St. Nicholas Church / Lesser Town Square. The Lázeňská N°4 apartments are simply put, perfect vacation rentals in a picture perfect location in Prague. The Baroque palace, with a 24-hour reception desk, serviced offices with flexible lease terms, a conference room, parking and more, sits on a charming cobblestone street next to the Church of Our Lady beneath the Chain (one of the oldest in Prague, the oldest in Malá Strana - with original pieces of the structure dating back to 1158). Today’s imposing, sturdy towers are from a Gothic reconstruction of the church, while the interior features Baroque elements including the paintings, Madonna Blessing the Maltese Knights at the Battle of Lepanto (1651) hanging at the high altar and the Beheading of Saint Barbara at the southern altar (1674) - both by Karel Škréta. The church and the palace, alongside the majority of the buildings in this impressive area, once belonged to the Knights of Malta. The intricate architectural gems on Maltese Square are simply full of intriguing history (e.g. Ludwig van Beethoven even stayed in one of the nearby buildings – be on the look out for an info plaque). In the immediate vincinity of the palace is the popular Cukr Kava Limonada cafe and Cafe de Paris, a traditional French brasserie. The colorful and fabled Lennon Wall is right around the corner, from which you can wander to Kampa, a little island separated by land by the Devil’s Canal. Kampa is home to a fine art gallery, numerous popular cafes, and a lovely little park. The world famous Charles Bridge is, delightfully, just a stone’s throw away as is Malostranské náměstí, the main square in the area (besides being beautiful and home to St. Nicolas Church, it is also a convenient tram hub). Staying on Lázeňská Street is sure to inspire many as it is just off the main tourist thoroughfare, yet it is quiet and tranquil.

Go For Baroque
Enter Lázeňská N°4 and it’s plain to see – it is simply an architectural gem. Situated on Lázeňská Street (derived from the Czech word for spa – lázně, and named so after a former spa that was on the street in the 14th century), the palace is home to 14 apartments (Azalea, Begonia, Calendula, Dahlia, Elderflower, Freesia, Gladiolus, Hollyhock, Iris, Jasmine, Kalmia, Lily, Magnolia, Neroli), named after classic flowers & herbs from the world of botany. Proudly visible over the entrance to the palace, which was home to the priests of the Order of Malta, is the Maltese Cross… also visible in paintings of shields, etc., on the walls of the entrance hall. It is of interest for history buffs to note that the building still has an old pull bell – go on and give it a try! The courtyard of the building is a magical place, made all the more alluring in the warmer months. From the back of the palace there is access to a garden as well. The palace has lovely original features throughout, present in the entrance, courtyard, corridors and the apartments.
