If you are planning a summer vacation and would like to have at least a basic knowledge of the language spoken in the country you are headed to, try the language courses held by the Polyglot language school, designed specifically to prepare students for situations they can encounter while on vacation in sunny Croatia, Slovenia or Italy. If you have bigger ambitions than knowing the very basics of a language you can try any of the many other language courses that take place in Polyglot's two branches in Prague and in other towns across the Czech Republic. You can enrol in English, French, Russian, German and other language courses according to your level of knowledge. For more intensive learning you can choose an individual course or you can choose to improve in a specific area such as making phone calls or negotiating, or enroll in an English course designated for employees of restaurants and hotels. Polyglot also offers Czech for foreigners and language courses for the elderly who like to try new things.
