Anglo-American University

Founded in 1990 after the collapse of Communism, the Anglo-American University is the oldest private higher education institution in the Czech Republic. Jansen Raichl and Dr. Vlasta Raichlová founded the Anglo-American College in order to create a higher education institution with American and British influence and principles together with European traditions. The University is split into five different schools: the School of Business Administration, School of International Relations and Diplomacy, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Journalism and the John H. Carey II School of Law. Undergraduate and graduate programs are available. The school is located in a gorgeous area of Prague known as Mala Strana, or the Lesser Quarter, and is situated in a beautiful Baroque palace. The school boasts students from all over the globe who come to Prague in search of a quality education that will jump-start their professional careers. This center of higher education encourages intellectual curiosity, leadership, diversity and cooperation. The school has international faculty members trained at worldwide universities including the Ivy League.
